Evergreen screens

Your backyard.
Off the neighbors' radar.

A line of evergreens picked for your property and planted the right way. Close neighbors, summer rentals and busy roads are part of life here. A fence fades over time, but trees keep filling in.

Green Giant Arborvitae — the one we plant most, fills in fast, grows dense, and deer usually skip it
Leyland Cypress — the quickest way to get a tall screen
Emerald Green Arborvitae — narrow and tidy for side yards and tight property lines
Skip Laurel — glossy green leaves all year and fine in partial shade
Holly — sturdy form, red berries in winter, and it tolerates salt air
Privet — the classic clipped hedge for a crisp, formal line

Common tree questions.

What privacy trees hold up in Atlantic County?
Our go-to is the Green Giant Arborvitae. It shoots up fast, handles coastal air, and deer pass it by most of the time, though not always. Leyland Cypress gains height fastest. Emerald Green works in tight strips. Skip Laurel and holly cope with partial shade. We match the tree to your soil, your space and the height you are after.
How long until I get real privacy?
It depends on the size you start with. Taller trees screen the view on day one. Shorter ones save money up front and tend to close the gaps within two or three seasons.
How do you give the trees a good start?
Each tree goes in at the proper depth, with better soil in the hole, the right spacing and clear watering steps when we leave. Tell us honestly about the sun, wind and salt in your yard, and we will only suggest trees that can handle it.
How fast can you get them in?
During the season, most plantings happen within a week or two. Text a few photos of the spot and a rough length. We reply with tree options and an honest price.
